If you are ever in St. Lucia, you need to head to the Sulphur Springs Park and take a hot mud bath. I was told that taking a dip, in the mud, makes you look 10 years younger. Sign me up!
Going up and down the windy roads, we made our way to the park. As soon as we got off the bus, the smell of rotten eggs was in the air (haha).
We made our way down a few set of steps, to the baths. Side note: I would suggest bringing an old swim suite because the sulfur could stain. Then, we headed to the mud buckets and got busy putting the mud all over us. We waited a few minutes for the mud to hard, then we went into our first bath. The water was HOT, but once in it felt amazing! We sat in there for a few minutes and continued onto the next one. Each one down the line felt a little less hot.
The smell of rotten eggs did linger all the way back to the resort, but it was an experience that I will always remember.
